How capacity is allocated
14 Japanese-built machines (Citizen Cincom, Tsugami) are assigned to
tight-tolerance and complex work; 5 Chinese-built machines
(TODAYCNC, SOWIN) run volume production. Work is routed by tolerance
class, not by machine availability.
On axis counts
The axis count is the number of CNC-controlled axes on a
sliding-headstock lathe — X, Z, C plus sub-spindle and live-tool
axes. It is not simultaneous 5-axis machining. Every machine carries
a sub-spindle and driven tooling for front and back working in one
cycle.
What the L20E-2M10 adds
With a Y-axis on the sub-spindle and driven tools on the back post,
cross holes, off-centre milling and back-working are completed in the
same cycle as the front turning. The B-axis is manually indexed — the
angle is set before the cycle starts, so angled holes and faces are
produced at a fixed set-up angle, not interpolated during cutting.
